How to teach Letter Recognition
This Uppercase and Lowercase Worksheet is a fun way to learn about letter recognition and letter order. In this worksheet, students identify uppercase and lowercase letters to build their letter recognition skills.
First, have your students circle all of the uppercase letters that they see in the scrabble tiles. Then, have them cross out all the lowercase letters.
After that, move to the bottom of the worksheet and have the write the missing letters to complete the pattern. The ending may be a little tricky because it mixes uppercase and lowercase letters to see if your students can match the pattern.
Being able to recognize uppercase and lowercase letters will help your students as they begin to read. This worksheet supports your students’ learning of uppercase and lowercase letter recognition and handwriting.
