This Presidents Day Reading Comprehension Worksheet will help your students build their reading comprehension skills while reading a non-fiction text about Presidents Day. This story features George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.
Many of your students have celebrated Presidents Day, but do they know why? It has been found that students build better reading skills when they read about topics that relate to them. This reading comprehension passage is high interest for your students!
First, students read the questions. Then, read the passage. As you read, underline or circle key words or phrases in the passage that are key details. After reading, use the passage to help you find the answers to aligned questions.
