How to teach Adverbs
Using this Adverbs Tell When Worksheet, students write adverbs to describe the verbs using a word bank as a guide.
Adverbs describe how an action happens.This worksheet will give students an opportunity to finishing a sentence with adverbs that describe how the action is happening.
First, read the sentences. Then, find an adverb in the word bank to complete the sentence. Once you have found the adverb, write it on the line provided. Challenge yourself to continue your practice with adverbs by creating a list of as many “when” adverbs as you can.
