How to teach Adverbs

Using Describe it Using Adverbs Worksheet, students write adverbs using questions to describe the three pictures.

Adverbs describe when an action happens. This worksheet will give students an opportunity to describe the action in pictures using adverbs.

First, look at the picture. Next, read the question. Then, write an adverb that matches the question and the picture. Make sure that you are clearly describing the action of the verb. Challenge yourself to continue your practice with adverbs by finishing the sentence "I jumped _________". How many adverbs can you put on your list?
