How to teach Alphabetical Order
This Dictionary Skills Alphabetical Order Worksheet will teach your students how to put words that begin with the same letter in ABC order.
Knowing how to put words in alphabetical order is an important life skill for your students to be able to do. This worksheet will help them be able to find words in a dictionary, file folders in an office, and look for destination locations at the airport.
First, write the alphabet at the top of your paper. Next, look at the second letter in the word. Decide which word comes first by using the alphabet at the top of your page. Then, write the word in the box. Continue ordering words until you have put all four words in order.
