Using the Is it Formal or Informal Worksheet, students determine which words or phrases are most appropriate to be said during formal or informal situations.
Being able to speak in front of a group of people takes a lot of practice. This worksheet will give your students understanding what situations to say specific words or phrases.
Read the situations. Next, circle formal or informal to show what kind of language might be used. Then, rewrite the sentences that are written in informal language in a formal way.
