Use this Author’s Purpose Activity as an additional resource for your students.
Introduce this activity by having two different students share about the first day of school. Next, have the class explain why the same event has different experiences.Then, students complete activity individually or with a partner. Finally, students share about their reading. Once finished, students continue their practice using the provided worksheet.
