How to teach Area and Perimeter
In this 4.MD.3 Fourth Grade Common Core lesson students apply formulas to find the area and perimeter of rectangles in word problems.
This lesson teaches students how to find the area and perimeter for rectangles using a formula. This lesson is perfect for small group, math centers or independent practice.
First, match each area or perimeter problem to the answer. Then, write your answer on the record sheet provided. Finally, continue your practice using the provided worksheets independently or with a partner.
