Introduce this worksheet by showing red and yellow counters. Ask students to share ways that you could describe the number of red and yellow counters. Next, introduce the words greater than, less than, or equal to. Challenge students to use those phrases to describe the counters. Then, students complete worksheet independently or with a partner. Finally, students create their own examples of add to the categories.
