How to teach Skip Counting

Using this Ten Little Pumpkins Counting by 10 Activity, students practice skip counting by 10’s by putting number cards in order.

Your students need lots of practice with skip counting. Skip Counting is the foundation of multiplication and division fact fluency. This activity will give your students the opportunity to practice in a fun way!

Use the Ten Little Pumpkin activity practice counting and sequencing by 10s. Attach the two fence pages together to set up a fence with 10 posts. Sit the pumpkins on top in order by counting by 10s (10-100 or 110-200 can be practiced).
