How to teach Measurement
In this 2.MD.4 Second Grade Common Core Lesson, students willmeasure to determine how much longer one object is than another.
Measuring is a real life skill that your students need to be able to do. In this lesson, students will measure different objects in the classroom and then find the difference in length between the two objects.
Use the activity cards to measure different objects in your classroom. Then, find the difference in length between the different objects. Make sure that you choose the appropriate tool for the given object!
