How to teach Fractions
In this 3.NF.1 Third Grade Common Core Lesson, students understand a fraction as the quantity formed by 1 part when a whole is partitioned into equal parts.
This lesson teaches students how to write a fraction to represent a picture. This lesson is perfect for small group, math centers or independent practice.
First, match the fraction picture cards to the fraction number cards. Then, continue practicing using provided worksheets individually or with a partner.

Finally, student can continue their practice using the provided worksheets individually or with a partner.
