How to teach Fractions
In this 3.NF.2 Third Grade Common Core Lesson, students represent fractions on a given number line using various tick marks.
This lesson teaches students how to location a fraction on a number line. It is perfect for small group, math centers or independent practice.
Students determine the fraction denoted by a red tick mark through labeling a number line. Then, they continue practicing using the provided worksheets.
