How to teach Multiplying Fractions
In this 5.NF.4 Fifth Grade Common Core Lesson, students multiply a fraction or a mixed number by another fraction.
This lesson teaches students how to multiply fractions and mixed numbers by fractions. This lesson is perfect for small group, math centers or independent practice.
First, draw two number cards. Next, multiply the two fractions. Then, record your solutions on your worksheet. Finally, continue your practice with the provided worksheets independently or with a partner.
