How to teach Dividing Fractions

In this 5.NF.7 Fifth Grade Common Core Lesson, students apply previous understandings of division to divide unit fractions by whole numbers and whole numbers by fractions.

Your students need to know how to use their knowledge of dividing fractions to write word problems. This lesson is perfect for small group, math centers or independent practice.
