How to teach Finding the Missing Addend
In this Adding and Subtracting Unknown Numbers Activity, students find the unknown whole number in addition and subtraction equations up to 20.
This activity challenges students to find the missing addends in the given equation. This activity is great in multiple situations- math centers, small groups, partners or a full class lesson.
Cut out all activity cards. Read each equation card and find the missing number. Match each equation card with an answer card. Use the number on the equation card to find the problem on the activity worksheet and record your answer.
