How to teach Angles
In this 4.MD.5 Fourth Grade Common Core Lesson, students recognize angles as obtuse, acute or right by playing War!
This lesson teaches students how to use a recognize an angle as acute, obtuse, or right. This lesson is perfect for small group, math centers or independent practice.
First, pick a character . Then, decide if the angle is right, obtuse, or right. Afterwards, play the card game War to help Princess Raya defeat Darth Rayder. You and your opponent flip over the top card of your deck. The person with the largest angle, keeps both cards. To win, collect all cards from your opponent’s deck. Continue your practice with the provided worksheets individually or with a partner.
