How to teach Finding Area
Using this Geometric Measurement Area Activity, students measure areas by counting unit square and matching square units to pictures.
Your students can use this worksheet to build their area finding skills. This worksheet has many uses. You can teach students to count squares when they are introduced to area or struggling. This activity will help your students to create objects of a specific size.
Match the unit square figure to the correct square unit answer. Then complete the activity sheet. Calculate the area for each shape
and complete the activity sheet.
