How to teach Graphing
Using this Plotting Measurements Activity, students organize the measurements listed below into a line plot by using an X to mark the data.
Students need a lot of practice creating and analyzing line graphs. This activity gives students practice with creating and analyzing information presented on a line graph.
Measure each item to the nearest quarter, half, and whole inch. Next record the lengths on the activity sheet. Then, complete the Plotting Measurement sheet and the Ticket Out the Door.
