How to teach Counting

Using this Missing Number Activity, students practice sequencing number cards  1-100 to build their number sense skills.

Your students need a lot of practicing counting. This activity helps your students practice counting from 1-100.

In this activity, students fill in missing numbers in a series of numbers, practicing their numbers from 1-100. Students can continue their practice using the 100's boards.

Introduce this activity by listening to the Have Fun Teaching Counting to 100 Song. Next, have students practice counting out loud.  Then, students complete activity independently or with a partner.
