Using Plenty O’ Pennies Counting Pennies Activity, students practice counting pennies to build their coin counting skills.
Knowing how to count dimes is an important skill for students to learn. This activity gives students an opportunity to practice counting pennies while playing a fun game!
Help the leprechaun find his pots o’ gold by hunting for them around the room!Search around the room to find each of the penny pots. When you find one, count the number of pennies inside and write it on the recording sheet. Once you have found and counted all of the pennies in each of the 18 penny pots, you have successfully helped the leprechaun find his biggest pot o’ gold at the end of the rainbow!
