How to teach Ordinal Numbers
Using this Ordinal Numbers Racecar Activity, students practice identifying ordinal numbers and the position of objects.
Ordinal numbers are a way for your students to give and follow directions. They help your students locate items and people at home and at school. This activity gives your students practice with ordinal numbers up to 10.
Players take turns spinning the spinner and moving their cars to the correct spot. If a car is already in that spot, you can pass them and bump their car off the game board! Continue gameplay until all 8 cars have been placed on the road and have finished the race! The player in first is the winner! After game play, complete the provided worksheet.
