How to teach Shapes
This 2D or 3D Shapes Worksheet teaches students how to determine if a shape is considered 2D or 3D to build shape recognition skills.
Your students interact with shapes almost everyday. They need to know different shapes to be able to describe objects they are looking for. This worksheet will help your students understand the differences between 2D and 3D Shapes.
Look at the pictures. Next, they decide if they are 2-dimensional (flat) or 3-dimensional (solid). Then, students look for examples of each shape in their classroom or at home.
