How to teach Volume
In this 5.MD.5 Fifth Grade Common Core Lesson, students solve real world problems involving volume.
Your students will face many volume situations in the real world. This lesson is perfect for small group, math centers or independent practice.
First, take turns drawing volume cards from the deck. Then, solve the word problem on your worksheet. Then, check your answer and move the appropriate number of spots. Now, your turn is over.After Level 1 is complete, move to Level 2 and 3. Finally, continue your practice with the provided worksheets independently or with a partner.
