Being able to identify the beginning sounds of each letter of the alphabet and practicing their letter recognition skills, your students will have an easier time learning how to read.
In this activity, students match the letter and picture cards to build their understanding of letter sounds and letter recognition.
For example, your student will find the letter A card and match it to the Apple card because it starts with the letter A. You can then practice what sound they hear at the beginning of the word Apple. In this case, it’s the sound A.
This Alphabet Match Activity is perfect for teaching and learning the beginning letter sounds and letter recognition. With just a little bit of practice, your students will be on their way to reading words, sentences, and books!
