How to teach Letter Recognition
Using this Uppercase and Lowercase Letters Worksheet, students print the uppercase and lowercase letters to practice their letter recognition and handwriting skills.
To get started, place this worksheet in front of your student. Then, start saying letters out loud one at a time.
For the top part of the worksheet, tell your students to write uppercase letters, nicely and neatly in their best handwriting while you say different letters aloud. If you know they are having difficulty with certain letters, start with those first.
Then, move onto the bottom of the worksheet and tell your students to write lowercase letters, nicely and neatly in their best handwriting while you say different letters aloud.
Being able to write clear letters that you are able to read is an essential skill for your students. This worksheet gives your students practice with writing uppercase and lowercase letters.
