How to teach Beginning Consonants
Using the C C C Consonants Beginning Consonants Activity, students match all of the picture cards that begin with the same letter.
Being able to identify the beginning consonants helps students read and write words. This activity gives them practice using common words that they will encounter in their reading.
Studentssay the name of each object. Match the cards that start with the same sound (for example, BALL and BUTTERFLY). Once all matches have been made, students continue their practice with the provided worksheet.
