This Christmas Hard Alphabetical Order Activity will teach your students how to put three sets of words about Christmas in alphabetical order.
Knowing how to put words in alphabetical order is an important life skill for your students to be able to do. This worksheet help them be able to find words in a dictionary, file folders in an office, and look for destination locations at the airport.
First, sort out the cards based on the picture. You should have three different sets – penguin, bear, and snowman. Then, put each set of cards in alphabetical order. Use an Alphabet Posteras a support to make sure that your order is correct. Finally, complete the worksheet independently or with a partner.

This skill helps students find words in a dictionary or books in a library. This activity gives three sets of ten words to students for students to rewrite in ABC order. First, students sort the words in alphabetical order individually or with a partner. Then, they complete the worksheet to continue their practice! It is an excellent addition to a literacy center during December!
