Ending Digraphs Pictures Worksheet

Ending Digraphs Pictures Worksheet

How to teach Ending Sounds

Using the Ending Digraphs Pictures Worksheet, students say each picture and write the digraph you hear for each word.

Being able to identify the ending sounds helps students read and write words. This worksheet gives them practice using common words that they will encounter in their reading.

Students make new words by adding the ending sound tch, ph,sh,th, and ch. Once students have finished creating words, they should read them aloud to practice reading fluently.

Have students provide examples that match those sounds.   Then, have students complete the worksheet individually or with a partner. Finally, have students come up with more words to add to your anchor chart.
