Silent E is super. Adding an E to the end of a word can change the short
vowel sound to a long vowel sound, creating a new word. This worksheet gives them practice with reading words that have a silent E at the end of them.
Students look for twenty silent E words in the word search. Then, challenge students to write sentences with the words from this worksheet.
