How to teach Plot
Using Beginnings and Endings Worksheet, students write about the beginning and end of the story to show the purpose of each.
Knowing plot structures will help your students know how stories are organized as they read. This worksheet is a great companion as they read any book of their own.
Read the assigned story. Think about the beginning and end of the story and the purpose of each. Write how the beginning of the story introduces the characters and main idea of the story. Write how the ending brings everything to a close, solves problems, and answers questions.
