Students read two picture books. Then, they compare and contrast the experiences of the characters in the two stories.

Use this Compare and Contrast Graphic Organizer as an additional resource for your students.
Introduce this activity by writing a showing a picture of two kids. Next, students share ideas how the kids are the same and different. Then, students read independently or with a partner using the graphic organizer. Finally, students share what they have read about. Once finished, students write more in order to compare and contrast the two books.
