Feeling Words Activity

Feeling Words Activity

How to teach Characters' Feelings

Using Feeling Words Activity, students read Amy Goes to First Grade to find words and phrases that describe Amy's feelings on the first day of school.

The characters your students read about have lots of the same feelings as your students. This activity will help your students identify feelings that characters have in different situations.

Students read Amy Goes to First Grade. Then, students find examples of different situations where Amy has a new feeling.
