We all have favorite characters from the books we’ve read. This lesson gives our students the opportunity to learn more about characters as they read.

Use this Major and Minor Characters Graphic Organizer as an additional resource for your students.
Introduce this worksheet by listing characters from the books you’ve read as a class. Next, students share what they know about each character from teh book. Then, students complete activity independently or with a partner. Finally, students share what they have read about. Once finished, students continue their practice using the provided worksheets.
