Being able determine the summarize text that you are reading helps your students understand what they have read. Graphic Organizers are a great way to support your students as they read. This activity will help your students organize their thoughts as they read.
Teachers will cut out the Tree Cookie Puzzle, then students will read “How to Make Eskimo Cookies” and put the events of the story in order. Students can then use the templates when reading any non fiction text.
