Introduce this worksheet by reviewing the parts of a plant. As you go through each part of the plant, ask students to share ideas of fruits and vegetables that we eat. Then, students complete worksheet independently or with a partner. Finally, have students use Plant Parts Worksheet to label a fruit or vegetable. Once finished, student write an explanation about why they chose each plant part for each food.
