How to teach Five Senses
Using Five Senses Board Game Activity, studentssail around the board game to collect picture cards representing each of the five senses.
Understanding your five senses helps your students know more about their body. This activity builds your students awareness of the five senses.
To play, place game pieces on the start line. Players take turns rolling a die and moving that many spaces on the board. If you land on a dark blue circle, you may pick up a picture card. Determine which of the five senses the picture belongs to and place it on the correct spot on your mat. If a picture belongs to a sense that has already been filled on your mat, place the picture at the bottom of the draw pile. A picture may belong to more than one of the five senses, so be prepared to explain your answer!The first player to fill up their five senses game mat or the player with the most senses at the end of game play is the winner!After the game, complete the worksheet that is provided.
