How to teach Fluency

Using Let's Read Emergent Readers Activity, students read the emergent reader with purpose and understanding to improve fluency and accuracy.

Being able to read fluently and accurately will help build your students' reading comprehension skills. This activity gives your students an opportunity to  practice with reading simple sentences with pictures.

Students cut out the activity cards and then staple them together to make a book. Then, students read their book to build sight word fluency.
