How to teach Skip Counting
Using this Rainy Day Skip Counting Activity, studentspractice skip counting by 2’s, 5’s, and 10’s by putting number cards in order.
Your students need lots of practice with skip counting. Skip Counting is the foundation of multiplication and division fact fluency. This activity will give your students the opportunity to practice in a fun way!
Use the number-cards to skip-count to 100. The green umbrellas count by twos, the pink umbrellas count by fives, and the blue umbrellas count by tens. After the cards are in the correct order, write the numbers on the worksheet.
