How to teach Speaking and Listening
Using this SL.2.5 Second Grade Common Core Lesson, students create audio recordings of stories or poems; add drawings or other visual displays to stories or recounts of experiences when appropriate to clarify ideas, thoughts, and feelings.
Being able to describe people, places, and ideas is important for your students to be clear communicators. This activity will give your student an opportunity to practice speaking into a microphone.
