How to teach Fire Safety

Using Fire Station Activity, students use two different activities about the fire station to build their understanding and awareness of fire safety.

Fire safety is an important skill for your students to learn. This activity helps your students understand which objects in their house or at school will keep them safe from fires.

Students must search for the picture cards and match them to their definitions using one of the provided worksheets. Then, sequence the three different sets of picture cards to help the firefighters save the day

Use this Fire Safety Worksheet as an additional resource for your students.

Introduce this activity to your students by asking them what they know about fire safety. Record their answers on a circle map. Then, students complete activity independently or with a partner. Finally, students revisit the anchor chart to add or remove ideas students now have about fire safety.
