Description
How to teach Community Helpers
Using this Police Station Activity, students solve clues about a police officer’s tools or equipment to figure out who stole the cookies.
Become a police officer and find out which Cookie Monster
stole the cookies! Search the room for cookies and crack the
code to find the culprit!
Cookies have a picture of a tool or piece of equipment used by a police officer. Each cookie also has a letter to help solve the cookie monster mystery code. Use the worksheet to help find the cookie monster. Search around the classroom to find each of the six cookies. Next, match the picture on the cookie to its definition on the worksheet. Then, write the code letter on the line next to the definition. Once you have found all six cookies and learned about police officers, you will have the name of the cookie monster! Finally, draw and write your own “WANTED” poster!
