Use this Big and Small Mistakes Sort Activity as an additional resource for your students.
Introduce this activity by sharing examples how you can fix a mistake that you made. Next, students tell you different ways that you can react to mistakes (taking a break, taking a deep breath, yelling, etc.). Then, students put the puzzle pieces together to match the mistakes and their solutions independently or with a partner. Finally, challenge students to come up with their own examples based on situations they have been in.
