Using this Command of the Conventions Writing Checklist Worksheet, students can check their writing for capitalization, punctuation, & spelling.
Choose two pieces of writing that you completed. (Example: journal entries, published writing, short answer worksheets, essays, or written letters.) Check your work for evidence of command of the conventions including capitalization, punctuation, and spelling. Complete the checklists below.
Students can use writing they have written, or other published works to check for these writing conventions.
