In this 3.NBT.1 Third Grade Common Core Lesson, studentsuse place value understanding to round whole numbers to the nearest 10 or 100.
This lesson teaches students how to round numbers to the nearest 10 or 100. This lesson is perfect for small group, math centers or independent practice.
Students match the ice cream to the cone by rounding according to the
directions (to nearest 10 or 100). Then, continue practicing rounding with the provided worksheet individually or with a partner.
