Being able to describe people, places, and ideas is important for your students to be clear communicators. This activity will give your student an opportunity to practice creating complete sentences so that they can share their message clearly.

Use this SL.3.1 Third Grade Common Core Activity as an additional resource for your students.
Introduce this lesson by writing a subject on the board. Examples could be “The boy..” or ” The car…”. Next, students complete the sentence with a descriptive predicate. Then, students complete activity independently or with a partner. Finally, students continue their practice with the provided worksheet.
