Adding Details to Your Story Activity

Adding Details to Your Story Activity

How to teach Adding Details

Using Adding Details to Your Story Activity, students give a description and then add detail to the story by responding to questions and peer suggestions to inspire a longer writing piece.

By adding more details to your students' writing, your students' ideas and opinions will be more clearly understood. This activity will help your students to add details to their writing.

Choose a Topic Card. Next, use the Question Cards to get more information about the topic. Then, write the details on the Graphic Organizer Worksheet.
