Use this Do You Want to Build a Snowman Contraction Activity as an additional resource for your students.
Introduce this activity by using the Contraction Flashcards. Show each contraction and ask student share sentences with that word in it. Next, have students tell what two words are being shown in the contractions. Then, students complete activity independently or with a partner. Finally, challenge students to write as many sentences using contractions as possible!
