How to teach Opinion Writing
Using This Is What I Think Activity, students use a combination of drawing, dictating, and writing to compose opinion pieces.
Being able to clearly share your opinion with reasons to support your beliefs is important for your students. This activity will help guide students’ writing to create powerful and persuasive writing pieces.
Choose a Book Card or Topic Card. Then, you may choose to draw a picture, talk about it, or write about it to share your opinion.
