Using Santa’s Compound Cookies Activity, studentsput together his cookies to form compound words to figure out what Santa wants for Christmas.
Your students will encounter compound words in many of the books and passages that they read. This activity familiarizes your students thirty compound words.
The goal of the activity is to match two halves of Santa’s cookies to create a compound word. Once compound words are formed, students complete the provided worksheet.
